Multiple batch descriptors results in downloads of 10000 files

Description

I'm attempting to download using the following command in the batch downloader:

 http://example.com/folder_[0:100]/image_[0:100].jpg

This results in the addon downloading 10000 files. Is there any way to have the addon increment both batch descriptors simultaneously so that I do only get 100 downloads?

I've tested this on DownThemAll 2.0.2 and a nightly of 2.1 on Ubuntu 11.04

Hi there,

I would to ask whether you have succeeded or not for this multiple batch descriptors, or you have find any ways to download the specific files. I'm trying to download files within folders like

http:www.example.com/00001/0001/001.jpg
http:www.example.com/00002/0002/002.jpg
http:www.example.com/00003/0003/003.jpg
http:www.example.com/00004/0004/004.jpg
http:www.example.com/00005/0005/005.jpg
...
http:www.example.com/00100/0100/100.jpg

I tried this:

http:www.example.com/[00001:00100]/[0001:0100]/[001:100].jpg

but didn't give me what I needed since it downloaded other files within 00001 to 00100, then within 0001 to 0100, then all file from 001 to 100...

What I need is to increment the three descriptors at the same time.

Best Regards,

Sypou

Hi again,

Here is a tips that might help. In my case, I have the links for each URL to the file, so I opened all the links in different tabs (by the help of CTRL Click, it should be faster), then from the menu bar, choose View > Tooblars > Customize and drag the DownThemAll button there. From it, you can download directly from All Tabs, not only from the current tab. Then I used a combination of Fast Filtering (depending on the format of my file), so that I can download it faster in one click. I want to notice that it will depend on the format of the name of our files and how the data are stored on the server. For my case, it helped.

Hope it can help.
